SARDA (Scotland) – the Search and Rescue Dog Association (Scotland) – is a volunteer-led organisation that trains and deploys specialist search dog teams to assist Police Scotland and Mountain Rescue Teams in locating missing persons.
Working in all weather conditions across Scotland’s mountains, forests and rural areas, SARDA teams use highly trained air-scenting dogs capable of searching large areas quickly and effectively.
At P in the Park, visitors can meet the dogs and handlers, learn more about how search dogs are selected and trained, and gain an insight into the vital role they play in supporting emergency services and saving lives.
Joe Hipwell of Sealpin Gundogs will be joining us in the main area for the 3rd year, showcasing the skill, precision and natural ability of working gundogs.
With a passion for training and developing dogs to a high standard, Joe’s demonstrations offer a fascinating insight into how these dogs work, combining teamwork and instinct.
We are so excited to welcome Nash and their amazing assistance dog, Cooper to the main arena for their second year! This dynamic duo has been attending the festival for the last few years and now it’s their time to shine in the main arena. Nash & Cooper will be performing and incredible heelwork to music routine - a true display of teamwork, talent and the beautiful bond between a young person and their assistance dog.
We are Canine Partners.
We create loving, life-changing, partnerships between disabled people and expertly trained assistance dogs.
Across the UK, we support people with a variety of physical disabilities, as well as their families, carefully matching them with a dog that suits their needs, personality, and lifestyle.
These partnerships bring confidence and independence, love and companionship, reducing reliance on carers and giving people the freedom to live life their own way.
We’re excited to introduce our new Meet the Breeds feature in our main arena in 2026.
We will be welcoming the Curly Coated Retriever Club, giving you the chance to learn more about this unique and historic breed, their characteristics and what makes them so special.
Next up in our Meet the Breeds feature is the Black & Tan Coonhound.
A fantastic opportunity to meet this striking breed and learn more about their history, their incredible scenting ability and unique personality.
